On September 11, 2024, the Song Art Museum proudly presents "13 Houses," Song Dong’s largest-ever solo museum exhibition to date in Beijing. Curated by acclaimed curator Cui Chancan, the show traces the artist’s life story—from his birth in 1966—spanning over three decades of creative exploration. Divided into 13 distinct spaces, the exhibition features 80% brand-new works that push the boundaries of traditional media. From immersive installations and performative pieces to sculptures, films, paintings, documentaries, archival documents, everyday objects, and even site-specific environments, the exhibition showcases an astonishing array of forms—and, notably, many works defy easy categorization, existing instead as "verbs" rather than "nouns." The exhibition runs until December 1.

The exhibition is supported by Tiandi Zhongxing, which provides art services including artwork packaging and transportation, as well as the installation, placement, and wall-mounting of pieces within the exhibition space.
This exhibition marks the largest-ever museum solo show by artist Song Dong, held at a major art gallery in Beijing. It features 13 distinct spaces, each with its own unique theme and diverse presentation style. The installation schedule spans six full working days, during which Top-Space is tasked with safeguarding the gallery’s infrastructure, precisely positioning, arranging, and mounting all the artworks—including both large-scale installations and delicate, smaller exhibits—while maintaining the integrity of the exhibition spaces throughout the process.
Among them, "It's Me, Not Me," one of the 13 installations, posed the biggest challenge of this exhibition setup. The installation team had to assemble and install hundreds of scaffolding pipes within a tight schedule—working from dawn till dusk—to ensure that the artwork would be perfectly presented to audiences on opening day, exactly as envisioned by the artist and curator.

Top-Space is a company centered around art-related services. Founded in Beijing in 2014, the company currently has three branches located in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong.
