On May 9, 2025 (local time), the exhibition of the China Pavilion at the 19th Venice International Architecture Biennale opened at the Arsenale and the Giardini in Venice.
This year's China Pavilion exhibition is themed "CO-EXIST: Embracing Wisdom," curated by Ma Yansong, founding partner of MAD Architects. Twelve architects—or architectural teams—will present 10 thought-provoking exhibits, each exploring themes inspired by the Liangzhu Civilization, the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang, Beijing’s Central Axis, interwoven urban landscapes, urban renewal projects, and visions of future cities. The exhibition delves into how Chinese architects today draw inspiration from the traditional Chinese worldview of "harmony between humanity and nature," a concept deeply rooted in their cultural heritage. By applying this "inclusive" wisdom to contemporary challenges such as material innovation, urban development, and landscape transformation, the pavilion aims to offer a uniquely Chinese approach to addressing the pressing issues facing global society today.
This year marks the 55th anniversary of China-Italy diplomatic relations and the 50th anniversary of China-Europe diplomatic ties, presenting a new opportunity for the development of China-Italy relations. The two countries are upholding the "Silk Road Spirit" of peace, cooperation, openness, inclusiveness, mutual learning, and win-win collaboration, deepening cultural exchanges through initiatives like fostering partnerships between world heritage sites, showcasing high-quality art performances, and boosting people-to-people exchanges. At the same time, they are comprehensively strengthening dialogue and cooperation across political, economic, trade, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
This year's Venice International Architecture Biennale saw Tiandi Zhongxing taking full responsibility for the international transportation of all artworks and exhibition materials destined for the China Pavilion, as well as providing on-site guidance for the installation and setup of several key pieces. The artworks were collected from eight cities across China—Beijing, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Foshan, Zhongshan, Hangzhou, Nantong, and Taizhou—and delivered safely and on time to the exhibition venue via a combined logistics approach, including air, road, waterway transport, and international courier services. During the installation process, Tiandi Zhongxing’s team leveraged their extensive experience in exhibitions to offer technical expertise, tackling numerous challenges and ensuring the seamless execution of the display.

Exhibition Prelude
For this year's Venice International Architecture Biennale, Tiandi Zhongxing has, for the first time, utilized a customized road transport route via the China-Europe Coach Express service, ensuring that the artworks arrive safely and on time at the exhibition venue. This innovative approach adds another fast and secure channel—beyond air, sea, and the China-Europe Railway—to the existing options for international art transportation, offering clients an additional choice for their needs. With its extensive and versatile network of art transport routes, Tiandi Zhongxing is well-equipped to help clients design the most suitable logistics solution for their valuable collections.
After the Chinese Pavilion’s artworks arrived in Europe, leveraging Tiandi Zhongxing’s robust agency network across the continent, we provided comprehensive assurance for their safe and timely delivery.
