On July 10, 2025, "Colombian Rhapsody—The Botero Art Exhibition," jointly organized by the Guangdong Museum of Art and the Fernando Botero Foundation, officially opened at the museum's new venue! Colombian President Gustavo Petro sent a congratulatory message, and over a hundred guests from various sectors of society gathered on-site to celebrate this remarkable artistic event together.
This exhibition brings together 81 iconic works from Botero’s classic series, spanning some of the most representative themes throughout his artistic career: Latin American everyday life, the circus, bullfighting, still lifes, and his sculptural creations. It also offers a comprehensive showcase of his diverse creative mediums—including oil paintings, sculptures, and watercolors on paper—highlighting Botero’s rich and multifaceted artistic exploration.
As Botero's art makes its first major, concentrated appearance in Southern China, the Guangdong Museum of Art not only offers audiences a visual feast of formal and artistic expression but also conveys, through the emotional depth and humanistic richness embedded in Botero’s works, the universal warmth and vibrant vitality of art that originates from Latin America.
This exhibition is fully supported by Tiandi Zhongxing in terms of art services. Services include dedicated supervision during dismantling and air freight, transportation via constant-temperature and humidity-controlled air-cushion vehicles, secure bonded warehouse space equipped with precise climate control, customs clearance for the exhibition using bonded logistics, and professional setup and teardown services. These measures ensure that the exhibited artworks are safely preserved and arrive smoothly at the Guangdong Museum of Art.

Exhibition Prelude
This major Fernando Botero art exhibition features artworks airlifted from Colombia to Guangdong, with the entire import and export customs clearance handled by the Tiandi Zhongxing team. Leveraging years of expertise and experience in international art transportation, as well as import-export customs procedures, the team ensured the seamless presentation of the exhibited masterpieces at the art museum.
Every piece of artwork undergoes numerous processes—from packaging and transportation to customs clearance and final display in the exhibition hall. Each step, every detail, must be carefully considered to ensure that the art arrives in perfect condition, ready to captivate audiences. Driven by this commitment, Tiandi Zhongxing continuously refines its art service offerings, making it possible for more masterpieces to reach a wider audience.
Tian Di Zhong Xing (Guangzhou) Art Exhibition Co., Ltd. offers a comprehensive range of services, including: international and domestic transportation of artworks (including rare and valuable pieces), as well as cross-border transport between Mainland China and Hong Kong; customs clearance for artworks entering and leaving the country, including streamlined procedures within bonded zones; on-site support at art fairs held both domestically and internationally; warehousing and packaging services for artworks; bonded storage solutions for art collections; and integrated services such as art insurance brokerage and trade agency—all delivered by experts in the art industry.
