A Special Presentation for the 5th Anniversary of He Museum

On October 1, 2025, coinciding with the museum’s fifth anniversary, He Art Museum will bring together over 100 artworks by artists from around the globe, presenting a major international group exhibition titled *Roots Point More Clearly Than a Compass*. This exhibition continues and expands upon the museum’s longstanding narrative of "dialogue." Starting in Guangdong, the show travels across southern regions, aiming to unveil a contemporary art landscape viewed through non-Western perspectives—and serving as a significant milestone that reflects the museum’s five years of dedicated exploration and practice.
The exhibition is divided into four distinct sections, unfolding sequentially from top to bottom: starting with "Echoes of the South," moving on to "A Guide to Infinite Growth," then "Is That Your Ballad?"—each leading downward until the standalone unit "Perceiving Geography: A Case Study by Tong Wenmin" in the main first-floor gallery. Through an interwoven narrative of multiple storylines and sensory pathways, the exhibition crafts an open, immersive landscape of discovery within the spiral, ascending space of He Art Museum. Featuring artists from around the globe who share a deep connection to the Southern region, this show invites viewers to explore their own identities with fresh insight, transcending conventional boundaries. By embracing diverse mediums and materials, the artists embark on a profound exploration of perception, place, and self-definition.
This exhibition is fully supported by Tiandi Zhongxing in terms of art services, which include international and domestic transportation, bonded warehousing, import/export customs clearance, as well as on-site setup, installation, debugging, and presentation of video and new media equipment.
More than 100 artworks on display come from countries including Belgium, South Korea, and Japan, as well as Hong Kong (China) and over 10 cities across mainland China. After a comprehensive assessment of local conditions and the condition of each artwork, transportation safety was prioritized above all else—while also considering efficiency. As a result, air freight and a dedicated cross-border truck route between China and Hong Kong were chosen to ensure the safe delivery of the artworks to a temporary bonded storage facility within China. From there, the pieces will undergo the necessary bonded customs clearance procedures before being released for exhibition.

Exhibition Prelude
This year's fifth-anniversary exhibition at He Museum features artworks from numerous countries and regions, spanning a wide variety of artistic forms. As a result, the pre-exhibition process of packaging and collecting these pieces presented significant challenges. Drawing on their extensive experience in art services, the Tiandi Zhongxing team carefully crafted the safest transportation plans tailored to each artwork's unique condition. Leveraging their comprehensive and well-established global and domestic logistics networks, they ensured that every piece arrived at its destination safely and efficiently.
The collaboration between Top-Space and He Art Museum began five years ago with the "Worldly Treasures – He Art Museum Launch Exhibition." As a long-term art service partner of He Art Museum, Top-Space has consistently maintained a close working relationship with the museum, providing artistic support for many of its notable exhibitions, including "Gou Jiang [gau3goeng1]: Chen Yingjie Studio Project," "Takeo Matsutani: Day and Night in Sun and Moon," "Mama Anderson: Theater in the Mirror," "Bosco Sodi: Beyond the Wilderness," and "Sean Scully: Where the Sea Leaves Its Mark."
Over the past five years, Top-Space has stood as a witness, intimately experiencing and celebrating every significant moment of the museum’s ongoing brilliance. Just as He Museum aspires to "root itself in the local while reaching out to the world," this vision also serves as the guiding goal for Top-Space’s dedicated efforts. In the next five years, Top-Space will continue its strategic partnership with He Museum, working hand in hand to deliver high-quality art services for the museum’s exhibitions—and ensuring that audiences consistently enjoy top-tier, exceptional displays.
