Co-hosted by the Guangdong Museum of Art and the Xu Beihong Memorial Hall, with organizational support from Beijing Wenze Era Culture & Arts Co., Ltd., the exhibition "A Thousand Years of Exchange: Xu Beihong," commemorating the 130th anniversary of Xu Beihong's birth, will open on February 28, 2025, at the new building of the Guangdong Museum of Art—and will officially welcome the public starting at noon on March 1.
This exhibition marks the inaugural showcase commemorating the 130th anniversary of Xu Beihong's birth. Centered around Xu Beihong’s remarkable artistic journey, the exhibit features 73 representative works along with an extensive collection of historical documents—including several first- and second-grade cultural relics—organized into three thematic sections: "Xu Sheng of Jiangnan: Enlightenment, Education, and Artistic Transformation (1895–1925)," "Born Amidst Adversity: Art Education and Patriotic Dedication (1926–1936)," and "Striving for Self-Improvement: National Responsibility and the Philosophy of Aesthetic Education (1937–1953)." Together, these sections offer a profound exploration of Xu Beihong’s artistry and life.
This exhibition is fully supported by Tiandi Zhongxing, providing comprehensive art services that include packaging and protection for all artworks, land transportation, and on-site installation services. Leveraging years of extensive experience in handling cultural relics, Tiandi Zhongxing ensures meticulous packaging and safeguarding of the exhibited artifacts. Additionally, their fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles maintains a stable, humidity-controlled environment throughout the entire transportation process, guaranteeing the relics remain secure and in optimal condition. After all, presenting each artifact in its absolute best state has always been Tiandi Zhongxing’s unwavering commitment.

The Foolish Old Man Removes the Mountains, ink on paper, 144 × 421 cm, 1940
For the first time, the national-level cultural relic "Yu Gong Moves the Mountains" is leaving the Xu Beihong Memorial Museum to go on display elsewhere in this exhibition. This masterpiece marks a milestone in modern Chinese figure painting and holds a significant place in the history of Chinese art. With its enormous size, every step—from carefully unpacking the artwork from its protective packaging, to transporting it safely by land, and finally presenting it in the exhibition hall—requires meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that the piece arrives in pristine condition for its grand unveiling.
Just as the spirit of unity embodied in this work, "Yu Gong Moves the Mountains," the Tiandi Zhongxing team consistently maintains strong collaboration across departments as they tackle various challenges—working together to deliver each artistic service with precision and passion, ensuring that every masterpiece is presented to audiences in its most flawless form.
